Congratulations to Scott Swank for winning the Tractor Show with his 1939 Allis RC, which was the oldest entry. Thank you to everyone who entered, attended and participated.

 I want to thank everyone that took time out of their lives to help us get the Richmond Fair ready for another amazing year that we just completed. The Fair Boards Hard Work and effort that is put in to planning and executing this three day event. By the way it takes a year long effort from this Board to pull this off!!

Down at the livestock end, Doyle and I CAN Not thank these people enough: the Hazen and Confer Families, ALL the kids, the Central Heights FFA organization, Nathaniel, the Moon family, Brandon Lee superintendent of the poultry and rabbit barn, the Koperski family, David, Ed and Rita Anderson and I’m sorry if I’ve missed someone in this list but thank you!! You ALL are amazing people and you are our village and we could not do this without you!

There are numerous Ladies and others in the community building that keep this fair running and do an AMAZING job!!

Thank each and everyone one of you for another Outstanding Fair!

We’ve wrapped up the 101st Annual Richmond Free Fair!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year a success. We especially want to thank all the volunteers, adults and young people, who helped with setup and breakdown, supported behind the scenes and out in front and provided entertainment and food. It takes so many people to get everything done and we appreciate every one of you. We also thank those who showed, entered items or came out in support. Thank you for your time and support. We look forward to welcoming you back next year.

Hundreds of water balloons are filled!!! The Street Games start at 3pm today with the Coin Toss sponsored by Goppert Bank, Hay Bale Rolling and the egg Toss.

We have quite a bit happening today, starting with the cattle show at 8:30 this morning in the arena.
The car show and old tractor show will begin at 10am.
The afternoon events will be posted soon.

Due to weather we postponed part of tonight’s street games. Friday night entertainment will begin as soon as the weather clears.
We will begin the street games tomorrow at 3pm with the Coin Toss sponsored by Goppert State Service Bank, then do the hay bale rolling, egg toss and the Saturday games. Thank you for understanding and we’ll see you tomorrow.
