Since we’re experiencing some very warm days, it’s a good time to review hot weather running tips!
⏰ Timing : Consider running earlier or later than normal to avoid peak hours
💦 Hydrate : Carry water or electrolytes with you or plan your routes around water fountains
📈 Route : Plan a route that has a lot of shade to avoid direct sun
🧢 Gear : Wear breathable light colored clothing, consider a hat or sunglasses and don’t forget sunblock
It will take your body a while to acclimate to warmer temperatures so don’t be afraid to slow down, incorporate walk breaks or consider a shorter route.
