Did you know today is National Nail Polish Day? If you're like us, you know that Diner en Blanc season is also Funny Bunny season . We love a beautifully polished white-on-white manicure. What a way to take the global theme all the way to a perfect finish. We love the butterflies and the lace overlay.
Our 2026 Global Theme is "Une Soirée Parisienne ~ La Belle Époque. (A Parisian Evening ~ The Beautiful Era.)
The theme is centered on the Belle Époque era, often described as Paris at its most luminous and alive. Think the Moulin Rouge, can-can dancers. Ladies in big feathered hats, men in vests carrying walking sticks.
We can't wait to see how Richmond embraces our 2026 theme. Oh, and don't forget the en blanc manicure.

Happy Monday, Friends! Did you know that yesterday was National Wave Day? The day was actually created to celebrate a particular type of flower. But, we're pretending it was created in tribute to an iconic gesture made by all guests and members attending a Diner en Blanc event. The napkin wave is a much-anticipated moment at every Diner en Blanc event. We can't wait for you to join us in the napkin wave this year!

We are thrilled to congratulate Toni Blue, a former Dîner en Blanc Richmond Group Leader, on her appointment as a Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Resources by Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger.

Toni’s leadership, integrity, and commitment to community have always been evident (traits that made her a great Group Leader), and it’s inspiring to see her continue that work at the highest levels of public service. She is also helping to make history as part of the administration of Virginia’s first female governor—a powerful and meaningful milestone for our Commonwealth.
