For the final day of the 60th Washington County Fair, we've scheduled one of Spotify's 2026 Artists to Watch to close out Day 5. On Sunday, August 16th, we're excited to welcome ZACH JOHN KING to the Main Stage! Zach John King is pushing country in a brand new (yet-strangely-familiar) direction – straight toward the truth, no matter where it leads. Raised in Fayetteville, Georgia and a lyricist first (with multiple generations of poets in the family), the rising star grew up old school but dreaming of escape. A fan of everything from George Jones and Otis Redding to The Police, Third Eye Blind, Switchfoot, and Biz Markie, King fronted an indie-rock band through college before making the move to Nashville in 2021, inspired to explore his country roots as the mainstream genre expands.

Whether it was through power chords and pounding drums or bare-knuckle balladry, his minimalistic country-meets-rock sound resulted in his first solo track in 2023 – an audacious collision of styles titled “Just Missed You,” filled with vivid authenticity – and a series of independent singles followed before King’s 2024 breakout single, “Wannabe Cowboy.” Boasting a less-is-more indie-roots presentation, the ballad stands in bold contrast to country’s chest thumping identity anthems and has so far garnered 3.4 million streams worldwide, with placement on high-profile playlists like Spotify’s New Boots, Fresh Country and Next From Nashville.

Wrapping up the work week with an amazing show for DAY 3 of the 60th Washington County Fair. On Friday, August 14th, we will welcome MARK WILLS to the Main Stage! It was “19(90) Somethin’” when Grand Ole Opry member Mark Wills went from singing at Atlanta’s infamous Buckboard to releasing his first of 19 Billboard-charting singles across seven albums. While climbing his musical ‘ladder,’ he has recorded Gold and Platinum albums and released some of the most enduring and recognizable Country Music hits of the last 25 Years. Mark's hits include: "19-Somethin'", “Wish You Were Here,” “Jacob’s Ladder” and “I Do (Cherish You)".

On Day 4, we've got a special planned for country fans on the Main Stage of the Washington Country Fair - TWO award winning performers on ONE stage! On SATURDAY, August 15th, we are excited to welcome TY HERNDON and JAIME O'NEAL to the Main Stage for our 60th Fair!

Ty Herndon has Four Million Albums Sold, 17 Top Ten Billboard Singles and Three #1 Billboard Singles. His hits include “What Mattered Most”, I Want My Goodbye Back,” “Loved Too Much,” “A Man Holdin' On (To a Woman Lettin' Go)”, “Hands of a Working Man.”, “Living in a Moment” and “It Must Be Love.”, among others! Ty is also Grammy® Nominated, CMA + ACM Nominated, and a Dove Award Winner.

Jaime O'Neal is a Platinum-selling country singer and hit songwriter that became a household name in 2001 with her back-to-back # 1 singles, “There Is No Arizona” and “When I Think About Angels.” With multiple hits that followed, including “Shiver,” “Trying To Find Atlantis” and “Somebody’s Hero,” Jamie caught fire. We are very excited about Day 2 of the 60th Washington County Fair! On Thursday, August 13th, we will will welcome JOSH ROSS to the Main Stage! Universal Music Canada / MCA / CORE Records artist Josh Ross is carving his own lane in country music. Canada-born and Nashville-based singer first made waves with a series of independent releases before breaking through with his debut EP, Complicated, which earned Ross his first-ever JUNO Award in 2025 for Country Album of the Year. The project included “Trouble”, a chart-topping hit that achieved Double Platinum certification in Canada and RIAA Gold certification in the U.S. After notching four #1 singles at Canadian Country radio, Ross scored his first #1 hit on U.S. country radio with “Single Again” in 2025, marking a milestone in his burgeoning career. The success of “Single Again” puts him in an elite category as the first male Canadian country artist in nearly 30 years to top the US Country Airplay chart.

It's finally here...the Main Stage Entertainment Line Up for our 60th Washington County Fair!! We have an exciting week of entertainment for you this year, bringing in established stars of country radio and up and coming artists who are taking off. We will be releasing an act or two each day all week.
