Important information for 2027 & 2028!
Thank you for another great weekend 🖤
❤️ Thank You.
(⭐️Below is a message about 2027 and 2028 events⭐️)
To everyone who loaded up their trucks, traveled from near and far, camped, cruised, volunteered, judged, sponsored, vended, and even braved the rain to spend the weekend with us… thank you.
Your support, patience, and enthusiasm reminded us once again why we love putting on the Midwest Truck Nationals. Despite the weather, seeing hundreds of GM trucks and so many familiar faces made for another weekend we’ll never forget.
As we shared during the awards ceremony, we’d also like to give everyone an update on the future of the Midwest Truck Nationals.
After a great deal of discussion, our family has made the difficult decision to take 2027 as a transition year as we prepare to relocate the event to Madison County, Kentucky. Our family is relocating to Madison County, KY over the next nine months or so. We have chosen to move the event with us.
This wasn’t a decision we made lightly.
Over the past several months, we explored several options—including the possibility of handing the event off for someone else to continue in Richmond. Ultimately, we realized how much this event means to our family. We’ve poured our hearts into building it over the years, and we want to continue growing its legacy ourselves.
Rather than rush into a new location, we’ve chosen to take the time needed to plan the next chapter the right way.
Our goal is to return in 📆June 2028📆 in Madison County, Kentucky.
While there won’t be a show in 2027, this page isn’t going anywhere. Throughout the next year we’ll continue sharing truck features, memories from past events, behind-the-scenes planning, and updates as we prepare for 2028.
To everyone who has supported the Midwest Truck Nationals over the years—thank you for believing in this event and in our family. The friendships we’ve made and the memories we’ve shared mean more than words can express.
‼️This isn’t the end of the Midwest Truck Nationals, and we are not making changes to the show (it will remain centered around square bodies and all GM trucks)‼️
It’s simply the beginning of the next chapter, and we hope you’ll be there with us.
See you in Kentucky in 2028. 🇺🇸
