A killer guest announcement is here! 🔪Kathryn Newton is joining the Nightmare Weekend Raleigh lineup! 🦇

Kathryn has most recently been seen in the Searchlight Pictures feature film "READY OR NOT 2," opposite Samara Weaving. Additionally, she will be starring as the lead in Lionsgate's shark feature, DEVIL'S MOUTH, alongside Gavin Casalegno and Lana Condor. Kathryn will also appear in the Jean-Michel Basquiat biopic, SAMO LIVES, starring alongside Kelvin Harrison Jr., Danny Ramirez, and Anthony Starr. She can most recently be seen in Universal's ABIGAIL opposite Dan Stevens.

Additionally, Kathryn co-starred as Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, followed by Lisa Frankenstein starring alongside Cole Sprouse and Winner starring Emilia Jones. She can also be seen as the lead of Amazon's The Map of Tiny Perfect Things on Prime Video.

Previously, Kathryn starred opposite Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith in Pokémon Detective Pikachu for Legendary. She can be seen in Netflix's The Society and Blockers for Universal, which was the highest-earning R-rated comedy of 2018.

She has worked with Martin McDonagh in the critically acclaimed film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Peter Hedges in Ben is Back, and Greta Gerwig in Lady Bird. She has also worked with Jean-Marc Vallee and Andrea Arnold in Big Little Lies, in which she played Reese Witherspoon's daughter.

Previous credits for Newton include CW's Supernatural, Universal's Freaky, AMC's Mad Men, AMC's Halt and Catch Fire, CBS's Bad Teacher, Gary Unmarried, and Paramount's Paranormal Activity 4. Newton started her acting career at the age of 4 and is also an avid golfer.

Stage, Screen, and Scares: Meet the legendary Susan Kellermann! 🖤

Susan Kellermann is known for her versatile work across stage, film, and television. Horror fans know her as Patty, the uptight, prudish antagonist in "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark" (1988), where her self-righteous small-town attitude perfectly clashes with Elvira’s campy charm. She also appeared as Grace in Tim Burton’s "Beetlejuice," along with memorable roles in "Death Becomes Her," "Last Holiday," "Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "Boys and Girls," "The Devil’s Advocate," and "The Secret of My Success."

She made her Broadway debut in 1979 in "Last Licks," earning a Theatre World Award and marking her arrival in the theater world with major acclaim.

On television, Kellermann is recognized for playing Greta Gravas, mother of Latka Gravas, on "Taxi." Her TV career began with appearances on "Starsky and Hutch" and "Laverne & Shirley" in the mid-1970s, leading to decades of guest-starring roles.
