A vase becomes a flower. A serving bowl becomes a petal. A treasured piece of glassware finds a second life in the garden.

Artist Annette Gordon transforms vintage glass, crystal, china, and found treasures into whimsical floral sculptures that bloom year-round. Each piece is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and reinvention, turning everyday objects into vibrant works of art.

We're delighted to spotlight Annette and the colorful garden she brought to Cottonwood Art Festival.

From the poster to the pathways, Julia Gilmore's artwork helped define the look and feel of the 2026 Cottonwood Art Festival. ✨

As this year's Featured Artist, Julia's vibrant, textured paintings appeared throughout the festival, welcoming guests on event signage, merchandise, maps, and more. Her bold colors and unmistakable style became part of the Cottonwood experience itself.

We're grateful for the creativity, energy, and personality she brought to this year's show, and we're proud to have shared her work with thousands of festivalgoers.

Take a look at a few places her artwork appeared around the festival grounds and be sure to follow Julia Gilmore to see what she's creating next.

Rooted in connecting via nostalgia, John Lathrop's modern approach to mixed media combines organically hand-painted digital art with meticulous graphic design techniques, breathing new life into pop culture references and putting a fun, humorous spin on pop surrealism.

"It's a Doozy with Steve Zissou" is an organically hand-painted digital artwork printed on a white Dibond panel. https://www.plaiddesign.co/
