Damascus Billet Making / Restacking / Advanced Patterns

Very excited about this one, this is truly a Super Class 🔥

Robert Wayman of Wayman Knives makes some of the most amazing top end knives on the planet. Every aspect of work is top level & some of the WILDEST looking damascus patterns come out of his shop and that's what this class is all about !

Mr. Wayman will demonstrate his methods on how he creates his signature patterns with a 5 person student group team.

The class will work together on a very large billet / billets that will be divided equally between the group upon completion.

This is a great rare opportunity designed for even total beginners to learn some advanced techniques. We will show students of this class how to prepare, forge weld, draw out and manipulate the layers of the steel on the Coal Iron 12 ton & Clark Iron 40 ton press for the desired pattern of that night.

At the final stage the group billet will be perfectly flattened out run though a rolling mill, then split up equally between the class.

This will be a night class starting at 8pm that will run approx 3-4 hours in the main forging area.

Each night will be a totally different unique pattern so you can claim multiple days if spots are available 🔥

One class per day $50 per spot 💥

We will be offering professional hands on classes at Bladesmith Bootcamp. They will be held in the Tiki Hut smithy by the pond led by multiple military veteran Forged in Fire champion instructors (FIFC)

Class 1: Hammer setting Damascus steel using Coal Forge (15 layer billet) (FIFC)
1 hour $25

Class 2: Restacking, Patterning & Forge welding (your) Damascus steel

Class 3: Railroad HC Spike Knife - 2 hour $30

Class 4: Beginner class, posture, hammer control, tool selection, safety, how to move metal

Class 5: Knife Grinding 101 (FIFC)

So we will add Tomahawks 💥

* Special ONE time demonstration class / training lecture 8 PM Thursday the 16th.

This one is different than the hands-on classes. More of a dos & donts training lecture for the students before starting their Hawk builds.
A hour of knowledge bombs with tricks & tips from 4 of the most experienced guys we have on site.
