American Grappling Challenge

Good evening,

Unfortunately, due to very low pre-registrations, we have been forced to cancel the tournament scheduled for Nov. 9th.

This is only the 3rd time in over 16 years & 150 tournaments that we have been forced to cancel for this reason… and the first ever for an event scheduled in Ohio! :-(

I was trying to wait for as long I could before I made this decision…as I know many of you train very hard and put these competitions on your schedule far in advance.

However, I also understand that it is not fair to you as a competitor to put in all the training, resources, & time only to show up and maybe get a single match. That’s not what we’re about, nor have we ever been about since our first event in 2006!

That said, I have begun the refund process for those of you that had registered online...you should see that appear back onto your account in the coming days. As a way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support over the years...you will also receive a code for a FREE Registration to be used at that Spring event!

On the bright side, I am going to make “one last attempt“ at hosting an OGC tournament in Spring of 2025...we hope to announce a date & venue in the coming days!

- Enter the parking lot at the light in front of the school.

- Enter the school through the door “16 W”

- Once inside, turn right and follow the sign to Auxiliary gym #2

Adult Registration
10am - 12pm / Cash Only!
One division = $80
Both division = $95

Spectators: $10 per person (cash only)
***All spectators, ages 5 & older ***

Registration is now open for the Ohio Grappling Challenge - CANTON!

First big announcement!

This tournament will play host to multiple CASH PRIZE Absolute Divisions!

The cost to enter these divisions is only $30… The more competitors that jump in, the more prize money you can win! Please check the online registration link for more information.

BONUS: All BJJ black belts are able to compete in the regular divisions for FREE at the OGC! This means your entry into the “cash prize division” would only be $30 per division!

Stay tuned, as we hope to have more announcements about other potential sponsors, and what that means for our competitors in the coming weeks.

We’re very much looking forward to returning to Northeast Ohio, as it’s often been home to some of our largest & most competitive events in OGC history!
