Thank you everyone who came out and enjoyed the Inductions !!

What fantastic music played by true professional Artists ! They have honed their skills over many years resulting in being included with many other Oklahoma Blues artists in the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame !! Adding their pictures and names into history. Brings tears to our eyes thinking that this years Inductees will also be forever known and searchable by their relatives yet to even be born!

What an honor we had in presenting them with these lifetime awards in Excellence. Congratulations to them ALL !!

Another group of dedicated and talented folks are the "Keeping the Blues Alive" recipients !!

They have also been instrumental to the Board in so many ways that included their time, energy, dedication and a deep love and commitment to Selby, DC and the legacy they leave us to continue.

This year we recognized 76 people, absolutely unheard of...these were all volunteers.

Just folks who stepped up in a moments notice along with all our sponsors, musicians, businesses and others to make sure we could have Festival #35 - In Loving Memory and conti nue that spirit throughout this new year. It didnt just stop with the Festival, these folks are tireless !!

It is an amazing group of people. The Blues community in Rentiesville remains ever supportive and involved in continuing to move DC and Selby's legacy forward. Thank you all !!

We as a Board are so appreciative for all everyone does. Selby was amazing in all she did to build DCs legacy and keep the Blues in Rentiesville alive since his passing in 2008. We are still figuring out how she was able to do it all and still be so full of love and music and show us weekly how important we all are.

So one more time, THANK YOU ALL !

If you were unable to attend, please join us at the Down Home Blues Club on Sundays from 4-9p for the weekly Blues jam hosted by Selbys All Star Band. We will be continuing to present these KBA awards for a few more weeks.

EDIT: More names have been added to this years Keeping the Blues Alive Awards. Cant help ourselves recognize so many in this incredible Blues community that DC and Selby built...

Well folks, the Inductions are this weekend and we are getting really excited for the chance to recognize these inductees !! Their contributions to the music continue to keep the Blues Alive and flourishing.

That said, this has been a huge year for ALL of us, learning how to adapt and keep DC and Selby's legacy of Love, Light and Blues going on into the future.

What Selby knew and we can see is that volunteers are the life blood of everything that we do here. It is amazing that with little monies we altogether want and keep pushing our founders, DC and Selby into perpetuity. Selby would be so proud of all that we are and have accomplished with love and respect....

DC and Selby honored those who consistently focused on moving the Festival and events forward like the Inductions on Saturday. The Board can do little without all the love, support and volunteering.

While we apologize for not being able to let you know individually, (just ran out of time) we hope you will humbly accept this award to show how very much you are appreciated.
