Wild West Bus Roadeo

Wild West Bus Roadeo The Wild West Bus Roadeo is now held in a public venue...beautiful Victorian Square in downtown Sparks, Nevada for the past 2 years.

The Wild West Bus Roadeo was founded in 2010, but a bus roadeo showcasing the talented, skilled, safe and professional coach operators of the RTC RIDE (formerly Citifare) has been held for more than 20 years in Reno, Nevada, but was not open to the public. It not only features obstacle competitions between the coach operators of RTC RIDE, but now includes the coach operators of local charter coach

companies (such as Amador Stage Lines), RTC ACCESS (the local paratransit transportation company) along with bicyclists live music, DJ music, food and information vendors. We hope to be including school bus coach operators and law enforcement motorcycle officers in the future.

So, after the APTA conference was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, there is a possibility that we might be able to resume the bus roadeo in the future...maybe next year. The size and location will be determined later since Victorian Square is no longer an option. We will update this page when we have more information. Thank-you for your support.
