WOULD YOU ENJOY HAVING A SPA EXPERIENCE AT ENDURANCE RIDES?

Hello Everyone, I posted on the NASTR site, but in case you didn't see it there, here is another chance to voice your opinion!

I am strongly contemplating offering a "Ride Spa" tent at some of the rides - maybe even the NASTR Derby - and would appreciate some input to see if it would be taken advantage of.

Therapies available may include PEMF/Red light, infrared sauna, BrainTap, vagus nerve reset devices, massage gun, shockwave and muscle testing to create individualized emotional support tinctures. If the stars align, I may also have a vibroacoustic therapy chair 🙏

These technologies are non-invasive wellness therapies and biohacking modalities. They focus on "optimizing" the body's natural functions—like sleep, cellular repair, and nervous system regulation—great for pre or post ride therapies, after a long day of crewing, volunteering or providing spectacular photography services!

Does this sound like something you would enjoy?

Would you be willing to pay a minimal fee to enjoy some great therapies?

I can't set up a poll on this page, so -

And thats a wrap on Rides of March 2026. The AERC West Region season has officially started. We had the best weekend with perfect weather and a full field. The trail was strategically laid out to give ample challenge to slow down and give the horses a rest, mixed with great footing and plenty of move out miles. These riders used this trail well and were kind enough to finish with daylight

Riders did a good job managing thier horses in unusually high temps for this season. The riders gave us a nice relaxed day without any drama and plenty of laughs.

The volunteers, lead by the best volunteer coordinator ever, Jenny Seames Gomez knocked it out of the park. They had a well oiled machine from the start and kept it up right to the end. Jenny organized a great group of new folks and experienced ones. She took the time to personally welcome everyone, made sure they recieved thier gift and lunch ticket and best of all she held a training session once all the riders were out. Everyone got to listen to a real heart rate courtesy of our model Ari who ame in just for this special event. Thank you Jenny...you made the event run so smooth!!!

The vets worked really hard all day and really took time to talk to riders and partner in taking care of the horses. Many folks walked away with helpful tips and suggestions. We love our vets and Susan and Betsy Hertel are a really great team keeping a full ride running smooth with minimal to no lines all day.

We have the best group of radio operators. Arlan Duwayne Robinson and his team keep things safe and on track. We always know where every rider is all day. The added assurance we have that everyone is safe is very reassuring. It's a triple win as they get good practice to do the really important work they do for our community during major events and disasters. We cherish these guys!!!!

Last but not least was the clean up. Gina Hall and Paula Lucchesi got things started on Saturday, volunteers cleaned up thier sections and moved supplies, riders left thier areas spotless, Dave and Jeff picked up all the many many water tanks on Saturday and had them all clean and organized. We all then pitched in and got everything loaded in the trailer, clean and organized. We even had the ride results turned in before bed...way to go Sheryl Scott!!! Nancy Burtard and Jade made sure the data sheets were kept up to date along with the radio guys making it so easy. Every ride we hone the process a little more making the spreadsheets so efficient.

Sunday morning our amazing photographers William Gore and Diana Hiiesalu went above and beyond pulling a loop of ribbons for us. They work hard all day on Saturday making sure every rider has a beautiful momento to remember thier adventure then they go even farther and help pull ribbons. Courtney Knoch and Logan came out again - they marked trail Thursday on thier bikes, helped with the garbage clean up, she ride the 30 mile ride Saturday and Sunday they were there again to pull the single track trail. We can't thank you two enough.

It really does take a village of folks to pull off these events. When everyone does a little no one has to do a lot. It freed up Tami to manage issues and make sure all stations had goodies and to do random che ks out on trail.

A weekend full of taking care of each other, our horses and giving back to the community. This is the spirit we need to grow.

Thank you all for a truly amazing weekend. May the rest of your season be just as great!

Happy Trails!!!!
