Due to inclement weather, all lessons scheduled for today, Monday, February 23, 2026, have been cancelled. Students with a lesson scheduled for today will be contacted on an individual basis to arrange a makeup lesson.

Due to inclement weather, all Artist Music Academy locations will be closed on Monday, January 26th and Tuesday, January 27th. Make-up lessons will take place during our make-up week on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th.

Lessons will resume on Wednesday, January 28th.

Meet Kaiya, a voice teacher at Artist Music Academy!
Kaiya has been with Artist Music Academy for about six months🎤

Kaiya graduated from Christopher Newport University with her Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in vocal performance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Physiological Biology🧪

One of Kaiya's favorite parts of teaching is getting to know her students. " It's so exciting to support them through all their musical endeavors in the best way I can and helping them find their love of music," Kaiya says

When she's not teaching or working at the NIH in Baltimore, she can be found playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with her cat

Some advice that Kaiya has is "Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to make mistakes and be human."
