Natural high.... Try a 30 second hug!!

I had the pleasure of guiding a team of mental health professionals in the art of destressing Meet Me in the Dirt style!!!

Hugs are marks of intimacy, and help build feelings of trust and safety. This feeling lingers long atter the hug, and can promote open and honest communication. Hugs also boost oxytocin and serotonin levels instantly, to elevate mood and happiness!
Towards the end of the video, catch the teenagers outside my place mimicking the hug! I love it!!!

Good morning!!! ☀️ I BLOOMED AGAIN!!!
I learn something new all the time in my garden! Sago palms Aka cycads generally only put out one set of new leaves a year. ONE! It devotes its energy to storing up what it needs for this “flush”. There is no rushing her either! How amazing to see a visual representation similar to our healing process. It takes considerable TIME focused on building the “new”, in the RIGHT ENVIRONMENT, with the SUPPORT from a gardener to ensure its GROWTH. I am grateful to have eyes to notice... Meet Me in the Dirt

Even In this season, we can expect to see things bloom and occur like never before. I’ve had these asparagus ferns for at least 7 years and I’ve never seen one bloom... Proof positive that we must allow whatever time it takes for a thing to flourish and not be dismayed! I was satisfied with it before, but the “bloom” is Gods way of adding his touch like no one else could!!

I’m SO PROUD of my dirty little business Meet Me in the Dirt!!!

Barbara Lawson turned to gardening after her mother’s death and now teaches others how planting can help heal grief and restore hope.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and as such I’m celebrating the work Meet Me in the Dirt does in the race towards holistic wellness—-making a difference one person, plant, and pile of dirt at a time .

As you build your rich and meaningful life/business, not all family or friends will "get" you. That's normal. 🪴🍃🌿

You go BE who you are & fulfill your purpose. Give it to God and keep on keeping on!!! The vision was given to you to catch, embody, and carry out.

Use everything he gave you…
