The North State Jazz Orchestra is incredibly grateful to have Rebekah Rebekah Osborne Van Tinteren as both our concertmaster and the leader of the string section.

Her dedication, professionalism, and musical vision have been invaluable, not only on stage, but also as a vital member of the NSJO board. Rebekah continually helps shape the direction and growth of this organization with both passion and heart.

Beyond her work with the North State Jazz Orchestra, Rebekah is an accomplished recording artist with multiple solo albums, showcasing her artistry and unique musical voice.

We’re proud to have her as part of the NSJO family and can’t wait for everyone to hear her perform at “A Night In Full Swing” on June 6th!

to our very first rehearsal back in January getting ready for the February concert. 🎹🎶

One of the biggest highlights of that season was having my student Henry Humphrey behind the piano with the North State Jazz Orchestra. His talent, dedication, and musicianship were absolutely instrumental in helping bring that concert to life, and it was such a proud moment to watch him perform with the orchestra.

Henry will definitely be missed at our June 6th concert, but we’re excited to continue building something special with this orchestra and the incredible musicians who make it possible.
