We are so proud of all of our Montgomery County 4-H’ers! We love getting to see their hard work, dedication, and talents on display each year at the Montgomery County Fair. 💚

Looking to learn more about 4-H or support our local 4-H youth? Today is the perfect day!

Stop by 4-H Find Out Night from 5:30–7:30 PM at the White Fair Building to learn more about 4-H, Clover Kids, clubs, projects, and everything 4-H has to offer!

You can also grab dinner at Pizza Ranch in Red Oak from 5–7:30 PM and support the Stennett Panthers 4-H Club through their Community Impact Fundraising Event!

All donations will go directly to the Montgomery County Ag Society to help support our fair and future events. ❤️

🍀Enrollment for Montgomery County Clover Kids is open! What is Clover Kids? Clover Kids is a 4-H program designed for youth in grades K–3 to learn, explore, and have fun through hands-on activities and experiences! Youth have the option to join the following Clover Kid Clubs:

🍀Stanton Clover Kids
🍀Villisca Clover Kids

We’re excited to share the 2026 Montgomery County Fair Board 4-Man Pheasant Tournament! 🦃

Join us Saturday, November 28 for a full day of hunting, friendly competition, and good food afterward!

Pre-registration is available this year, so you can skip morning registration and get your hunt started early! Teams are $100 per 4-man team, with prizes for the longest team spur and longest team tail length.

After the hunt, join us at the Red Oak Elks Lodge for a pheasant feed! Brenda Vrba will be preparing the pheasants brought in from the day’s hunt, with appetizers available for a free-will donation and a cash bar.

📍 Registration: Gold Fair Building in Red Oak
⏰ Morning registration: 6–8 AM
🏁 Birds must be returned by 4 PM

We were so happy to see our Montgomery County Fair Queen, Audrina Johnson, representing Montgomery County at the Iowa State Fair this week!

Audri says her favorite part of the week so far has been meeting all of the other county fair queens and making memories that will last a lifetime. 👑✨

We’re so proud of Audri and wish her the very best as she finishes out an exciting week at the State Fair tomorrow!

📣 Cheer her on from home or if you’re at the Iowa State Fair you can watch Audri walk the Bill Riley Stage tomorrow, Saturday at 7:00 PM!

It's hard to believe it's already been a couple of weeks since the 2026 Montgomery County Fair, and we're still smiling as we look back on an incredible week!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing sponsors who help make the fair possible each year, our dedicated volunteers and Fair Board members, the Montgomery County Extension Office, all of our exhibitors and their families for your hard work, our food and commercial vendors, our entertainment acts, and every single person who came out to support the fair. Our community is what makes this week so special.

Even with the summer heat, our fairgrounds were filled with smiles, laughter, friendly faces, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you showed livestock, exhibited projects, enjoyed the entertainment, grabbed your favorite fair food, or simply spent time with family and friends, thank you for being part of another unforgettable Montgomery County Fair.

We're already looking forward to making next year even better. ❤️
