Folk Medicine Festival Celebrating RBS History of folk life & medicine featuring artists, craftsmen, practitioners & farmers
A festival held annually on the 1st Saturday of June.

Festival will be June 6, 2026 9:00 am - 4:00 pm The Folk Medicine Festival is the first Saturday in June from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Vendors, demonstrators, entertainers, children's activities, food vendors, the quilt show and educational sessions will happen within the historic downtown area of town. From the Palace Park through downtown, the Village area and down to the Church of Christ building.

There will be signs posted pointing to the various areas. There will also be volunteers wearing ivory t-shirts with the festival red pump logo on the front to help you find your way. You are welcome to spend the entire day with us!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Folk Medicine Festival in historic downtown Red Boiling Springs! Your support, enthusiasm, and love for our community made this year's event a tremendous success.

Special thanks to the City of Red Boiling Springs, the Red Boiling Springs Police Department, and the Red Boiling Springs Fire Department for helping ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all.

We are also incredibly grateful to our sponsors: Wellworth Bank, the Macon County Arts Council, and the Tennessee Arts Commission. Your support helps keep this cherished tradition alive.

Congratulations to Shelley Stauffer, whose beautiful quilt, Hidden Circles, was selected as the Favorite Quilt in this year's Folk Medicine Festival Quilt Show!

This year's show featured an outstanding collection of quilts showcasing the talent, creativity, and dedication of quilters from across the region. We are delighted to recognize Hidden Circles as this year's visitor favorite.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped in to view the quilts and cast a vote. Your participation helped make the Quilt Show a wonderful success and a meaningful celebration of this treasured art form.

We also extend our appreciation to all of the quilters who shared their work and helped make this exhibit such a special part of the Folk Medicine Festival.
