Dear Community,
It’s Jess with Pacific Event District.
After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to take this year off from hosting the Harvest Festival.
When we started the OG Trunk or Treat (in a gravel parking lot) during Covid, the world looked very different. Communities were shut down, people were getting sick, families were isolated, and our kids were stuck at home. We all needed something to look forward to—a little bit of normalcy, hope, and connection. What started as an idea during a difficult time grew into six wonderful years of bringing our community together, and for that I will always be grateful.
I have so many exciting ideas and a new vision for the future of this event, but I know I can’t bring that vision to life the way it deserves in time for this year.
The Harvest Festival deserves more than simply repeating what we’ve done before. It deserves to grow. Rather than putting on an event that isn’t the best it can be, I’d rather take the time to reset, recharge, and rebuild it into something even bigger and better.
This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply a pause.
Thank you to every volunteer, vendor, sponsor, and community member who has supported the Harvest Festival over the past five years. You are the reason it became such a special tradition.
I promise we’ll be back next year, refreshed, reimagined, and ready to create an even more incredible Harvest Festival together.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for believing in what we do.
With gratitude,
Jess Yearout
