Central States Fair, Inc. is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our year-round team in Rapid City.

This is a hands-on position overseeing the financial side of an organization that produces the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo®, Central States Fair, and other events and activities throughout the year.

We're looking for someone with strong accounting experience who can handle the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. The position includes accounting, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, event financial operations and more.

💰 Starting salary: $60,000+ based on experience
✓ Full-time, year-round

✓ QuickBooks experience strongly preferred

OFFICE CLOSED SEP. 7-11. | We are officially FAIR TIRED. 😴

After nine days of Fair and some required clean up, our crew is trading radios, emails and approximately 47,000 daily decisions for naps and absolutely nothing.

Our office will be CLOSED September 7–11 while we recover, recharge and attempt to remember what day it is.

Then it’s back to work because… BHSS waits for no one. 🤠

To everyone who came through our gates, cheered from the grandstands, rode the rides, supported our exhibitors and vendors, sang along, ate the fair food and made this place come alive... THANK YOU.
