We were graced with good weather, great horses, enthusiastic exhibitors and very generous sponsors over the weekend of April 16-19. This was our 22nd year producing the horse show which started out as the UPHA Chapter One Horse Show, reinvented as the Horse Show at Woodside and currently The California Springfest Horse Show. Thanks to you all.

CONGRATULATIONS to our WACK - A - PEEP winners at the California Springfest Show. After a series of competitive heats, these athletes emerged victorious! MEET OUR OFFICIALS
Juan Stuckey, Paddock Announcer
California Springfest Horse Show April 2026

We are so happy to have Juan Stuckey back on our staff at the California Springfest Horse Show as our paddock announcer. Juan has had an illustrious career in the horse show industry for the past 40+ years. Juan is most familiar as the ringmaster at many of the largest horses shows, including Scottsdale All-Arabian, US Arabian Nationals, US Arabian Youth Nationals and Midsummer Horse Show, Morgan Grand National and World Championship as well as international events such as the Canadian and Brazilian National Championship Arabian Shows. In 2021, Juan was honored with the Arabian Professional and Amateur Horseman’s Association Unsung Hero Award. He is familiar to Saddlebred exhibitors as the long-time ringmaster at the Northwest Fall Classic and Del Mar Charity Fair Horse shows. Juan typically works 13 or 14 horse shows per year and while he is renown for his work as a ringmaster, he has also judged, managed and announced back many horse shows over the years. We look forward to one more full day of competition tomorrow.

Meet our Officials:
Scott Boe, Farrier
Lafayette, California

I was born and raised in Elk River, Minnesota. When I was a kid I just loved the movement of saddlebreds. After graduating from high school, I ventured out apprenticing with a few local farriers. Then I met Ray Magnuson, he was the top upper Midwest saddlebred farrier at that time. I worked for him for 10 years, learning and focusing strictly on motion horses. As Ray slowed down it forced me to go out on my own. I shod horses in the upper Midwest. One of the highlights of my career was working for the well known Dr. Alan Raun, Reedannland Farm. During that time I would apprentice with Bud Williamon in Kentucky to strengthen my skills. I feel I have gotten the opportunity to really work with some of the greats in the Saddlebred Industry.
I got married in 2017 to my wife, Teddi and we decided in 2020 to move back to her home state, California. It’s been a change from the every day life of saddlebreds to a mixture of breeds and disciplines. I do enjoy working on different breeds and enjoy working on saddlebreds in my local area. I look forward to being the farrier for this years California Springfest!
