Buyers at Jake Clark's Mule Days aren't just looking for a good looking animal. They're looking for miles, wet saddle blankets, and a dependable mind.

When preparing your consignment video and photos, show what your mule actually does:

- Loading and unloading quietly
- Handling their feet for the farrier
- Saddling, bridling and mounting from the ground and a block
- Navigating water, bridges, and deadfall
- Working cattle or packing a load

Honest stock speaks for itself. Consignments close January 15, 2027. Contact TJ at (307) 272-4563.

TJ leading the herd in back in 2007. Nearly twenty years later, not a whole lot has changed about the work or the country, just a few more miles behind us and plenty of good stories along the way.

If you were around Ralston back in '07, who remembers this string?

Who said the ranch broncs are just for the boys?

Riding a rank mule takes balance, timing, and a whole lot of heart, and she showed everyone exactly how it’s done.

Most folks know a good mule will pack you into the high country and get you home safe. But if you think that is where their job ends, you have not watched one lock onto a cow in the arena.

Whether you are sorting pairs on the ranch, riding mountain trails, or competing in the arena, a solid mule holds their own anywhere you put them to work.

Have you ever worked cattle on a mule? Drop your stories in the comments.
