🎬 Five Points Short Film Festival is STILL ON.

We’re bringing year three to the historic Rialto in Raleigh on November 12 🍂

Same festival. Same big night. Just a little more sweater weather.

And yes, everything you’ve been waiting for is still happening:

⭐ Celebrity judges
🎥 An incredible lineup of short films
📸 Red carpet at the Rialto
🍿 A full night celebrating indie filmmakers and the NC film community

🎬 Five Points Short Film Festival returns this August at the historic Rialto in Raleigh, NC

Submissions are already rolling in, and if you’re planning to submit a film, get it in sooner rather than later

Every year, the films get stronger, the crowd gets bigger, and the community around this festival keeps growing

Last year brought:
🏆 $1,000 awards
🎥 A seriously talented lineup of filmmakers
⭐ Judges who genuinely cared about the work
🎟️ A packed red carpet night celebrating indie film in North Carolina

This festival was built to give filmmakers a real platform. A place to screen your work, meet other creatives, and push the quality of what’s being made here in NC

Year three hits late summer, and submissions are officially open!

Last year set the tone:
🏆 Two $1,000 prizes with support from The Crunkleton
🎥 Films that seriously leveled up
⭐ Celebrity judges who showed up and leaned in
🎟️ A red carpet night that felt like a real moment for this community and the filmmakers in it

That energy carries into this year!

Five Points is about giving filmmakers a platform, a crowd, and a reason to push the work further. Competitive, collaborative, and built by the community around it

We’re so proud of this year’s lineup—bold, emotional, hilarious, and deeply human. Congrats to our Golden Reel Winners and the $1k prize!
