We think Meredith is a special place, uniquely able to support students in achieving their dreams, and that the connections made during years spent at Meredith can last a lifetime! Prof. Beth McCollum and her Instrumental Music Ed Methods class had a last attending the Broughton High School football game Friday night. Students were able to ask questions and learn from the band director, Marjorie Harrison!

Join us August 20-22nd for White Iris Productions "DeLovely, a Cole Porter Musical R***e!" The performance is a 7pm in Jones Auditorium at Meredith College and is completely free! No ticket required.

One of our students, Lola, serves as the Advocacy Chair for Collegiate NCMEA and attended Hill Day with other officers from NC and across the country to advocate for music education!

Congratulations to stellar performances by the winners of the Annual Concerto/Aria competition, and .bruggeman, who performed with the , under the direction of Dr. Jim Waddelow last evening! The concert also included two premiers and Schubert’s Symphony #3 in D Major!

Tomorrow night! Don't miss the 31st Annual Concerto Aria Concert! The performances features our Meredith College student winners of the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra Concerto Aria Contest Bianca Varetto, Mezzo-soprano and Alyssa Bruggeman, Piano! The concert is at 7pm in Jones auditorium.
