When it comes to racing at Oak City… Jon is the one making it all happen.

As Race Director, he’s behind the scenes building courses, dialing in formats, keeping things running smooth, and making sure every racer gets their shot to send it.

And yeah… he’s “Jon Brown Actual” because apparently there are a lot of Jon Browns out there… but only one running race ops like this. 😏

From teaching members kids how to read to handling The Squirrels’ taxes, they play a role on both sides of what makes this mission work.

It’s not always the loudest support, but it’s the kind that matters every single day.

Before any of this… before the festivals, the race scenes, the trick comps… they set the standard.
Float Life Fest is the blueprint for what this community could be.

And they’re still pushing it forward. FloatLife Fest 10 this September!

Every year they show up to Oak City bringing their iconic trick park features, giving riders a place to level up, throw down, and keep progressing the sport.
