After sending this privately to HALO, Inc. Executive Director Holly Anderson Anderle and Board President Jasmine Fields, it dawned on me that our community deserves to see thanks given.
Leading a homeless shelter is no small task. It’s emotionally and physically exhausting. It’s thankless. It’s dealing with outside AND inside pressure EVERY DAY. It’s serving those without, with dignity and love.
Thank them. Take an opportunity to show how much you appreciate their efforts. Know that they work so hard with so little and do the absolute best with so many restrictions on time, funds and resources.
