Yes! There will be a Fair July 23-26! In fact, you can checkout the 2026 Exhibit Guide on the Fair website; www.plumas-sierracountyfair.net. Start planning now for what you plan to enter into the Fair. A photo, painting, table setting, house plant, jerky, baked bread, cookies, flower arrangement, zucchini, collection, sewing project....whew! You can also pick up copies at local libraries and Plumas Bank branches. See you at the Fair!

It bums us out, but we have to cancel Chipper's Christmas Wonderland tonight due to weather. We can't safely illuminate the displays and can't really ask volunteers to stand in the wind and rain. Thanks for understanding and please help us spread the word. Thanks to everyone that attended this year and we hope to see you next year! Merry Christmas every one!

Only two more nights of Chipper's Christmas Wonderland! Tomorrow and Friday will be your last chance to drive thru the Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds to be dazzled by thousands of lights and hundreds of hand painted displays. It starts at 6pm and is open until 8pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to greet the whole family. It's free, but there will be a place to make a donation if you want. Pack up the sleigh and visit Chipper's Christmas Wonderland before it melts away! Kind of like Frosty!

Come out and see the lights of Chipper's Christmas Wonderland at the Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds tonight between 6 and 8pm. Also, next Thursday and Friday will be your last chance in 2025. It's fun, it's FREE! Pack up the kids, drive through and then see Santa and Mrs. Claus for a candy cane! Here are a couple of photos that Heather Way emailed us. Thanks Heather!

It's that Chipper Time of Year! All of Chipper's little helpers are busy hanging lights and arranging all the wonderful hand painted displays throughout the fairgrounds. As always, this is a free drive-thru event, but we're happy to take donations at the exit to help out the PSCF Foundation and all the work it does. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to give out some candy canes and some holiday spirit! The hours are 6pm until 8pm on the following dates:

Not true! We do not have any bag policy at our fair this year. We trust our community members to not bring anything d***y or dangerous to the fair. Whatever is being posted elsewhere about us restricting bags is not real. Come to the Fair! We open at noon everyday through Sunday. See you here!

The International Mini Donut Eating Contest returns to the Plumas Sierra County Fair! Friday evening, July 25 at 7:45pm near the front gate. It's free to enter and only 10 can compete. You enter by stopping by the fair office during the fair and saying, "I want to be in the International Mini Donut Eating Contest." If you are one of the first 10 to say that, you're in! You have 60 seconds to eat a dozen mini donuts supplied by one of our favorite food vendors; Mini Donuts. Winner receives an impressive trophy pictured here. The Plumas Sierra County Fair starts next Thursday, July 24. It's your fair....be there and share!

Just a point of clarification, presale carnival tickets are available at several locations, including Plumas Bank branches in Plumas County only. We always say ANY Plumas Bank branch, but that's not accurate since they are only available at the Plumas County branches. You can also get them at Safeway, Sierra Valley Home Center, Sierra Valley Ranch and Feed and the Fair Office. We will be selling them through Wednesday, July 23, but the businesses mentioned may be out by then. We don't run out at the fair office, but if you don't want to fight the last minute crowd at the fair office next Wednesday, get your tickets at the listed businesses now. See you at the Fair!

Don't forget, Thursday, July 24 is not only the opening day of the Plumas Sierra County Fair, it's also Senior and Kids Day. 12 and under or 62+ are free that day and it kicks off with the traditional free Senior Lunch at noon, sponsored by Plumas County Public Health and Safeway.
