We are currently accepting applications for our Youth Beekeeping Scholarship Program for 2024! This is a wonderful opportunity for area youth between 14 & 18 yrs old, who are interested in beekeeping to learn alongside experienced MVBA members and get hands-on education. If criteria is met, and through our selection process, the recipient will then receive protective gear, the equipment needed, their first package of bees, and so much more. Our deadline for the application is September 15, 2023.

This awesome T-shirt design was created by our very own talented graphic designer, Tim McClelland of Maxgrafix! We will have a LIMITED number of these T-shirts for sale at the Convention. Let us know if you would like to add your size to the surplus inventory. (They will be sold on a "First come, first serve" basis, so arrive early).

Mr. Jeff Horchoff a.k.a Mr. Ed has a treasure trove of interesting experiences to talk about. He has kept bees since 1978 and has often been referred as the “bee wrangler”.
