* I have not stopped painting, only taken a break. The Timber House, Quilcene Village Store, and Linger Longer Farms thank you for your patience! Your Shindig sponsorship is appreciated.
*Shindig sponsorships returned over $1500 back to our community by supporting musicians, sound technicians, and fire dancers. Thank you to everyone who donated.
*MONDAY NIGHT MUSIC with Franco is back. Ages 13 and up. This year it begins at 5pm at an introductory level, with an opportunity to audition for "the band", which practices from 6:30-8. This program is in its third year at the theatre and has many return students. Kids have the chance to practice a variety of instruments. The school does help to fund the program and donations are helpful! Instrument donations welcome also. Parents are encouraged to attend or observe inside the theatre and perhaps consider learning or volunteering. (Not required). As a parent with a child in the program, I am very pleased that my daughter has learned guitar, bass guitar, congas, ukulele, keys, some drum set, and voice. I love it and respect Franco's patience and instruction for the kids. If you know of a passionate teen musician pass it along!
*A late fall concert series with Daniel Macke and friends is being planned. When the date is confirmed we will announce it loudly.
*Musicians and performers are welcome to inquire about using the space for concerts.
*RENT THE THEATRE. Yes. That is right. Big old building, perfect for meetings, classes, recording space or more. Let us know what you need and we can help. Reasonable rates.
*Minor renovations happening weekly. Please excuse the dust.
*A huge thanks to Heather Norton! You can find her tending the theatre on Fridays for us. Always the best swept day.
*Stop by and see us! Thank you so much for supporting music in Quilcene!
