Kyle Marcoux ( ) AKA “The Vulgar Chef”— is a social media content creator known for his outrageous food content. For over a decade, he has built a cult-like following with his bold recipes that are often a fusion of hotdogs, SPAM & mayonnaise.

Stephanie Perez ( ) is a BBQ enthusiast with a passion for pairing smoky, tender meats with the perfect beer. She loves exploring new BBQ spots, trying different regional styles and sharing her journey with fellow food lovers.

William “Brimstone Kucmierowski ( ) has had a successful and rewarding career spanning well over four decades; boasting a list of titles including professional wrestler, radio host/professional podcaster, actor, voice actor, author, musician, philanthropist, food critic, horror model, and comic book/animated/children’s book/video game hero.

Adam Poch ( ) is a home chef / pitmaster - you can find him outside grilling, smoking, & BBQing all year round. For the past decade, he has taken his love for food to the next level by becoming one of New York’s most acclaimed Food Judges. This will be the 5th straight year that Adam has been the Head Judge for Brisket King®.

Autumn Stanford ( ) brought a taste of her hometown, Austin, TX, to NYC by opening the city’s first Kolache bakery in early 2012. Now, 13 years later, continues to serve up Texas-inspired kolaches to a loyal following.

Gennaro Pecchia (.pecchia ) began his career and acquired his food obsession in the mid-80’s as the assistant to Tim Zagat, President of Zagat Survey. Currently, he is the co-founder for Chefs Who Care benefiting The .

Joanna Sciarrino ( ) is the Editor-in-Chief of VinePair and a co-hosts of “The VinePair Podcast.” Prior to joining the VinePair team, Joanna was the Executive Editor of Food52, a cooking and housewares digital media company. She loves all things food and drink.

Ethan Fedida ( ) is the founder of , a craft harissa company and winner of the Sauce King NYC 2024 Grand Champion award. He is also the co-founder of Campfire Group, a social impact digital consultancy.

Connor Reid ( ) has spent years documenting the techniques and traditions that define American barbecue. As the Emmy Award-winning Supervising Video Producer for Eater and the creator of the hit series Smoke Point, he has traveled the country to learn directly from the most legendary pitmasters in the game.

Misty Banchero’s ( ) marriage into a 3rd generation meat family was a kickstart for her BBQ journey. Shifting from her long-time career in corporate retail through the pandemic, her passion for grilling became an obsession. Her mission is to share her journey and inspire more women to step up to the grill.

Watch out, Brisket King® NYC competitors. The reigning Brisket King® 2025 champ is back to re-claim his crown!

Anthony Scerri of came on to the Brisket King® NYC scene in 2024— where he immediately landed in the Runner Up spot. His 2nd time around in 2025, he left with the title! What will he walk away with this year? Find out on April 29th!

🍖 How many years have you participated in Brisket King® NYC? 
2026 makes it 3 years, and each year gets tougher!

🍖 What will you be serving at this year’s event?
This year is a tribute to the legendary Anthony Bourdain and Les Hommes, “American BEEF. French Style.” A gold-grade wagyu beef brisket, cold-smoked for 6 hours with Knotty Wood’s “plummond” wood, then slow-smoked in Post Oak for an additional 12 hours. Our “putain powder” rub is a mix of salt, ground peppercorns, white truffle, ground bay leaves, oregano, and thyme.

Our bonus “exclusive dish” is a Bourdain fan-favorite, Brisket Beef Bourguignon. We use the trim from all our brisket and combine it with homemade Hungarian nokedli in honor of my wife’s roots and heritage.

We made Smoke Sweats to break common stigmas about BBQ. Every year, no matter how much higher beef prices soar, our goal has always been to serve fans new and innovative ways to eat BBQ. They EARNED it. Never forget, we were once fans attending these events, too, and we will forever be!

Our biggest accomplishment has always been using our creative outlet to inspire others to break out of their shells and pursue their creative dreams. I love seeing people find their happiness.
