Today a decent faction of riders gathered today at Harold's Corral in Cave Creek to celebrate this year's ride, discuss the good, bad, & ugly of how the event went last March and discuss some plans for what's coming in the coming months and for next year's ride.

Trail boss Phil Fedor was presented a bottle of Pendleton whisky by Tom Alberti as payment for being out of uniform. (Phil excused the penalty because of Tom's advanced age & the extreme heat that day, but Tom honored his word to pay the Pendleton penalty.)

Phil was also presented a thank you gift of a framed photo of him during the finale last March by the advisory team.

More importantly, the riders were recognized for several categories. The winners were voted on by the PX Advisory team in areas follows:

Speed Demon award - Brett Fairbanks
Most likely to lose their hat - Courtney Mathus
Best handoff - Bruce Perkins & Brett Fairbanks
Rookie of the Year - Randall Ford
MVP - Ashleigh Mairin-Elizabeth

Next gathering will be a horse camp up near Dewey AZ at the end of July.
