Happy Horror Con Opening Day! Alaska Airlines sure picked the wrong time to restart their computers! :) When 44 of your Guest flights are on Alaska, and then Alaska starts grounding their flights at Sea-Tac, it causes problems. Our fantastic team has been working through the night rescheduling and rescheduling to get everyone to the show.

But we did lose a few guests with this mess and a few are getting in later than we/they were planning on getting here. Please read below on the most current updates:

🚨 Washington Horror Con - Important Celebrity Update! 🚨
Due to the Alaska Airlines IT outage yesterday, a few of our celebrity guests have had to adjust their schedules. Here's the updated info:
🔸 Jack Dylan Grazer – Will be appearing TODAY, but arriving later than originally planned.
🔸 Denise Crosby – Will be appearing TODAY, but arriving later than originally planned.
🔸 Michael Biehn, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, Jamie Kennedy, and Linda Blair – Will now be appearing only on Saturday and Sunday.
🔸 Andrew Hubatsek and Wyatt Oleff – Unfortunately, they are coming from the east coast and the first flights would put them here too late and are having to cancel their appearance.

We understand this may affect your plans, and we're here to help! Yapsody will be refunding all photo ops from canceled guests and refunding partials if they were in a group photo. If your are coming today (Friday) and are missing one of your guests due to the travel mess, check in at the Photo Op Purchasing booth in the Celebrity Area and a representative will help you with additional options.

The showfloor is ready for Vendors to load-in tomorrow and guests have already started showing up. Banners are ready to hang, video gaming is setting up, the badges, souvenir bags, commemorative pins, stickers and other merchandise is getting organized.

SPEAKING of merchandise, design, and overall awesomeness of the Washington State Horror Con, we wanted to take a moment and show our appreciation and spotlight the artist and designer behind all of our cool swag and designs for the show.

Please welcome Kevin McCoy who will have a featured booth adjacent to the Merchandise Booth in the center of the Showplex. Stop by and tell him thank you for sharing his talents with us again this year. We will be teasing some of the awesome merch on TikTok soon. Kevin will have some exclusives that he made for the show at his booth all three days.

Derry, Maine brought them together the first time, and Puyallup, WA will host a rare cast reunion from the cast from It Chapter One this weekend at the Washington State Horror Con.

Meet Jack Dylan Grazer, Jaeden Martell, Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Nicholas Hamilton at the show. This is the first time that this group has ever been together at one show. IT is a can't miss for the 2017 hit movie and the Stephen King franchise.

"What do you know. It's the losers club" He portrayed the ultimate bully in "It and It Chapter 2", and we are thrilled to add the very talented NICHOLAS HAMILTON to our line up for his very first convention appearance.

Please welcome Nicholas Hamilton to Puyallup for the Washington State Horror Con lineup from October 24th through the 26th.

Nicholas gained widespread recognition as the sadistic bully Henry Bowers in the 2017 blockbuster IT (2017). Hamilton reprised the role in It Chapter Two (2019), further cementing his horror credentials amid the sequel's supernatural showdowns.

Beyond horror, Hamilton's most popular credits include the 2016 indie drama Captain Fantastic where he delivered a poignant turn as Rellian, one of Viggo Mortensen's off-grid sons, earning a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Cast and a Young Artist Award nod.

Hamilton continued building momentum with roles like the young Wyatt in Stephen King's 2017 adaptation The Dark Tower, starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey, and the suitor Riley in the 2020 romantic thriller Endless. More recently, he portrayed the explosive superhero Maverick in the 2023 Prime Video series Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys.

ONE MORE WEEK until Horror Con is upon us! Important updates to follow.

Early Bird Photo Op Vouchers are being extended and will now expire on Sunday 10/19 at 11:59pm.

Lance Henriksen is unfortunately having to cancel his appearance. We hope he feels better soon and can rejoin us at any of our upcoming shows.

Heather Langenkamp's flight and travel were all set to join us next week, but she recently had a passing of a loved one and the family scheduled the memorial for the Saturday of our show. We are already on her schedule for next year.

Fiona and Don had a change in their filming schedules and can't get to the show on FRIDAY in time, but will still be here for SATURDAY and SUNDAY.

The team at Yapsody has started refunding all photos ops with Lance and Heather as well as the Friday Photo Ops with Fiona and Don Mancini. Check your email when those go through tonight.
