The StoryMode Independent Short Film Awards (SISFA) was created in order to provide a place where up-and-coming filmmakers can showcase their short films in an inviting and fun environment. With so much film festival competition out there, SISFA stands to block out some of that noise for filmmakers by allowing them to have a place where their films have a good possibility of being seen by a large, public audience. Filmmakers who want to have their work seen by real people who really love film should consider entering into SISFA. This is an opportunity for you to showcase yourself as a filmmaker, a chance to get yourself out there. You never know who might end up seeing your work. This live show is all about creating a memorable experience for its audience through the combination of live stage elements and exciting films, which produces one amazing show! Competitors make short films, submit them, and then the films are placed in awards categories by a panel of judges. On the night of the show, audience members view the films, vote for their favorites, and then awards are given to the winners. The live portions of SISFA are presented by a talented group of individuals. Hosts, presenters, performers, and actors all work together to create a show that is very Oscar-esque in nature. This group works under independent production company StoryMode Films, who produces the show. For more on StoryMode, refer to storymodefilms.com
