The Fair may be over but the fun isn't! Check out all of the great events happening this month, starting today with the Goodnight Barn Chuckwagon Roundup. The Jordan World Circus stops by the Big R Arena next weekend, and we'll also be hosting the Colorado Mounted Thunder, Pueblo County 4-H, and the Southeast Area Square Dance Council this month.

The Fair may be over, but there’s a lot to celebrate.

Every number tells a piece of the story of the 2026 Colorado State Fair, people through the gates, memories made, competitions won, entertainment enjoyed and traditions shared. This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated our Fairitage alongside 150 years of Colorado and 250 years of America, and you showed up to celebrate with us.

So while we love seeing the final numbers, what matters most is everything behind them: our Fairgoers, exhibitors, performers, vendors, volunteers, partners and staff who made it all happen.

Take a look at some of the metrics that made 2026 one for the books! Thank you, Colorado. We’ll see you in 2027!

Colorado, THANK YOU!

The rides have stopped, the barns have quieted down, and another Colorado State Fair is officially in the books. To everyone who walked through our gates, competed, performed, volunteered, worked, exhibited, supported, or simply came ready to make some Fair memories, thank you for being part of 2026.

We loved celebrating our Fairitage with you, and we already can’t wait to welcome you back. Until next year, Colorado!

Happy National Day of the Cowgirl!

Today we’re celebrating the cowgirls who bring skill, grit, determination and a whole lot of heart to the Colorado State Fair. From the show ring and rodeo arena to the barns and everything in between, generations of cowgirls have helped shape the Western traditions we’re proud to celebrate year after year.

Here’s to the women and girls keeping those traditions going strong. Happy National Cowgirl Day!

Shining Star: Deric Stowell

It’s hard to imagine a more enthusiastic ambassador for the Colorado State Fair than Deric Stowell! The State Fair is his absolute favorite time of year, and his passion shows in everything he does for Creative Arts.

From using his Master Gardener skills to create stunning floriculture displays to coordinating food demos and showcasing our featured quilts, Deric goes above and beyond to make every fairgoer's experience unforgettable. He’s always looking for ways to improve the department—even spearheading our public guest book—and has guided countless friends to enter competitions over the years.

From the show ring to the midway, Fair food to live music, longtime traditions to brand-new moments — 2026 gave us a lot to remember. Thank you, Colorado, for another incredible Fair. We’ll see you next year!
