Hey Everyone!

WOW, is all I can say.

Even though only 2 queens showed up, the town certainly did, and the 2 queens that were there TURNED IT OUT!

They were beyond awesome. They put together a two person show that was entertaining and well put together.

The number of people that showed up to watch was nothing short of amazeroo.
Pueblo, you came to support, watch, and celebrate DRAG & The Local LGBTQ Community...

THE THEME FOR OCTOBER'S DRAG SHOW IS: HORRORFEST.
Anyone wanting to perform in October, either come to our monthly meeting, or mssg the page to get signed up for the month of October.

Next Open Meeting for the October Drag Show will be this coming Thursday. The 1st Thursday of every month will be the open community meetings to help plan, discuss, improve, create, and make these shows (plus other LGBTQ+ Events) happen. We will go over the good, the bad, and the growth we can make from this first show completed to open this month's meeting.

The Community Makret was a good little turnout as well! Only 3 vendors for the first Market, but they all made some good sales! The amount of people that came through last night, for the market, tells me that we are onto something good! It was fun, in all aspects, all the way around last night. I am excited and ready to keep growing these shows!

Speaking of growing shows... The next first Friday Event is the Open Community Talent & Open Mic Night. Anyone wanting to help with that show just lemme know at our next meeting on Thursday August 10th.
Meeting starts at 6 PM. Located at 520 W 13th St. in Pueblo.

The first Friday of EVERY OTHER MONTH will be a drag show. Starting the 1st Friday in August! Featuring local and abroad Drag Queens & Kings.
These events are 100% ALCOHOL FREE. We want to be an alternative for those who don't always want to be in a Bar Setting when going out to an Event/ Show.
We offer a safe, judgement free, and loving place for you to come visit monthly.
There will be a Donations Box by the front stage to benefit a different Charity, of a random Drag Performers Choosing, each Drag Show.
If you want to perform on a unique stage, in an awesome venue, simply mssg us. We will get back to you asap & get you set up. It is absolutely free to perform. You keep all your tips you make.
Doors Open early for FREE SHOWINGS of Ru Pauls Drag Race up on the Big Screen.
... Speaking of Ru Paul's Drag Race Showings, Ru Paul's Drag Race will be shown weekly, every Friday, on the big screen inside the Hobbit Hall (in Nerd Emporium)! Starting First Friday in August. When Ru-Paul is doing one of her Many Drag Races of course. When she is not, then we will only be offering the first Friday of every month for Events/ Gatherings. Bring your Own Food & Drink. No Alcoholic Beverages Please.

The in-between months, when Drag Nights are not happening, will be an open COMMUNITY TALENT SHOW & OPEN MIC NIGHT! Open to ANYONE & EVERYONE to come show off whatever their talent is. Winner gets a Prize at the end of each show we do! Each winner gets added into a bracket. After 6 shows (1 yr), we will have a Winners Competition Show Down! Where the Top 3 will get Prizes from different Sponsors around Colorado! These kick off, the first Friday in September. Every Other Month. Send us a mssg to get signed up and more info!

Also, the first Friday of EVERY MONTH is an open community LGBTQ+ Flea Market. Which will happen from 5 PM until we close for the evening/ event happening that month. The Vendor Spaces will be located downstairs in the Hobbit Hole. The Spaces are absolutely free to obtain. There are 10 Vendor Spots Available Every Month. During the Drag Nights, Vendors are welcome to be more ADULT ORIENTED as these shows will be for 16+ only.

There will be a permanent donations box by the check out area, in Nerd Emporiums Side Room Store, to help support & keep these events going in our community every month. Your donations help pay the bills for the Venue!

WELCOME! Hobbit Hall Drag Nights is not our official name. We are still creating one that suites us. Until then though, we have the generic Drag Nights!

The Southern Colorado Community is a strong one. Unfortunately, it does not have alot of options for general hang out in the lgbtq+ community. If we want to go North there are options up in Colorado Springs & Denver. (In a Bar setting/ directly in a Bar.)

We deserve better representation, all year round, in Southern Colorado. We start in Pueblo and will hopefully expand, as the years pass, throughout Southern Colorado & beyond.

What are we? We are a 501c3 non- profit group led by Church Of Being Inc. We are working on getting the foundation set for what we do and what we offer, but it is going to be something offered monthly inside Nerd Emporium.
