The Contest Explained

This is a photography contest for young people in Pueblo West, Colorado as they work to make it from one day to the next in the new world of isolation.

Rules for the Christ Church 4:8 Photo Contest

1. All subjects must give permission to be photographed

2. No photos of copy written material ie: no photos of other photos or things on television etc.

3. Guidelines for photos….

Philippians 4:8

8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

The assignment for this contest then is to make photos of things/people that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or worthy of praise.

4. Submit all images in a jpeg format to this page. Winners will be chosen by the judges April 25, 2020.

5. Age categories are Pre-k, Elementary School, Middle School, High School. Winners will be selected from each category. There is no limit to the number of images that can be submitted. Each submission must be original work of the submitting photographer and created between March 25, 2020 and April 25, 2020.

6. Use of cell phone cameras is encouraged.

7. To submit an image post it to this page.

8. Caption information is encouraged, but not required.
