Provincetown Film Society & Festival

Provincetown Film Society & Festival Known for The Provincetown International Film Festival, Waters Edge Cinema and Gabrielle Hanna Film
(1)

The Provincetown Film Society is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to showcasing new achievements in independent film and honoring the work of emerging as well as acclaimed directors, producers, and actors. Our mission is articulated through three primary activities: the annual Provincetown International Film Festival, now in its 24th successful year; the year-round art house cinema, the Wa

ter’s Edge Cinema; and the Gabrielle A. Hanna Provincetown Institute for film and media artist residencies and conferences. A substantial contributor to the economic and creative vitality of America’s oldest art colony, PFS is dedicated to becoming a sustainable, year-round cultural organization that brings film education, genre-specific festivals, and cultural partnerships to the outer Cape.

THURSDAY AT WATERS EDGE

Two bold, unforgettable films before we temporarily dim the lights to prepare for the Provincetown International Film Festival!
BLUE FILM - A charged, intimate drama about hidden connections, desire, and the weight of a shared past.
I LOVE BOOSTERS — A wildly stylish, fiercely funny celebration of chosen family, identity, and campy joy.

Please Note: Waters Edge Cinema will be temporarily paused starting Friday as we prep for festival week June 10th -14th and welcome the excitement of PIFF 2026.
