Provincetown Brewing Co.’s “Washashore Festival” is an annual gathering celebrating the union of live music, good beer, and the everlasting singularity of Provincetown. The Washashore Festival is an unforgettable, 3 day, multi-venue, genre-bending, Queer music festival that celebrates the freedom, breadth, and power of Queer expression in a village at the end of the world that has long been a safe haven for rebels, adventurers, artists, and liberated souls of all stripes.

John Cameron Mitchell’s decade-plus long dance party Mattachine comes to Provincetown TONGHT for our opening afterparty at , featuring local legends Billy Hough and Sean Gardner AKA DJ Potato Salad.

Rooted at Julius’ Bar in NYC’s west village, John’s legacy party is named after The Mattachine Society, an early gay rights group, organized what became known as the “Sip-In” to challenge New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) regulations that were promulgated so that bars could not serve drinks to known or suspected gay men or le****ns.

Internationally acclaimed cabaret artist Amber Martin brought soul, camp, and one-helluva voice to Provincetown this past summer season alongside creative bestie John Cameron Mitchell in their new spin-wheel fantasy spectacular CASETTE ROULETTE. Amber basically charmed the pants off everyone in Paramount at - so if you missed her, you’ve gotta catch her back this weekend co-hosting Sunday night’s Town Hall concert Oct 8th. We can’t wait to have this queen back in our midsts this weekend!

Each year Washashore Festival highlights a unique set of performances from within the Provincetown community. While of course we love sharing brand new national q***r talent with Provincetown, we equally love sharing the beautifully diverse and tight-knit community of Provincetown artists with those visiting us by having everyone share the Washashore stage.

This year, we cannot wait to present at the opening of this festival’s Town Hall concert on Oct 8th an original immersive collaboration with Andrew Lenox —producer, audio engineer, composer, and remixer of music across multiple genres — and Ptown’s premier vocalist/singer songwriter Joao Santos . We hope to surprise you with some our Town’s best talents through a Washashore lens with something you won’t catch any other time of the year…
