The Mediator Fellowship- Who We Are:
In the beginning, the Mediator Fellowship was a rather conventional Unitarian/Universalist church with a minister and a hymnal. Over the years we have evolved into a group of self-governing individuals who meet informally every Sunday at 11 AM for a weekly “Forum” of discussion. Our Sunday morning discussions reflect a diversity of beliefs and life experiences. With a general agreement amongst us to uphold human rights and spread social justice and equality to all persons, at our core- our foundation, is the Unitarian/Universalist tenant: that each person is free to develop their own personal belief system. We recognize, however, that views differ as to how best to work towards achieving these goals. Accordingly, the opinions of all- including atheists, agnostics, as well as believers in a Deity, all are respected and welcome in our inclusive Fellowship. Exponents representing varied viewpoints occasionally bring presentations, but we place greater importance on listening and learning from one another. Also offered at the Mediator are weekly Yoga sessions, which take place at 9:30, prior to the discussion Forum at 11.
