SOUND MIXER NEEDED FOR SHORT DOC:CLAYBOURNE

This is a small-budget project, with rates open for negotiation.

The film is built around atmosphere, memory, and place. I’m interested in sound that feels tactile and grounded. Something that holds texture as much as tone. I have an original score being composed, and the film includes a subject singing a gospel hymn. I’m looking for a mix that allows voice, music, and environment to exist in balance.

Filmmaker: Especially interested in the small sonic details that root a place: the squish of red clay underfoot, dry dirt shifting, wind moving through trees and more.

The goal is a sound world that feels lived in, deeply present.

Based just outside Atlanta and open to both in-person and remote collaboration.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and share more. Include a portfolio or sample of recent work when you reach out.
