Welcome to The Good Trade PVD. On November 21st and 22nd, nearly 100 of the best, kindest, and most positive-minded makers from all around the country will be featured at The Good Trade Makers Market 6th annual weekend-long community shopping experience at Providence, Rhode Island’s WaterFire Arts Center⁠.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door (if they don’t sell out!). As always, with entry you’ll receive a drink ticket to redeem for your choice of a small 5oz cocktail from Inside Voices, b**r from Moniker Brewery, small hot coffee from New Harvest, or non-alcoholic beverage. Want a full sized cocktail, mocktail, or b**r? You can redeem your drink ticket for $2 off any full sized item from the Inside Voices bar.⁠

Get hungry while you shop? They’ll also have two restaurants and a bakery popping up on site to to keep you fed while you meet our roomful of innovators, designers, and makers, play our famous Plinko for a Cause game, swap books at The Good Trade Book Trade, and so much more.⁠

Rolling out the red carpet for 10 years of FireBall! ✨🔥

Say hello to Pamela Fernández (pamela), one of six artists in the 2026 WaterFire Accelerate Cohort.

Over the past year, Pamela has grown alongside her fellow cohort members Aja Delgado (Aja🧿), Leia Fifer (LEIA ///), Yasmine Hassan (Yasmine Hassan 🇸🇩🇬🇦), Amelia Rozear (Amelia), and Rachel Turner (Rachel Turner), each pushing their practice in new directions as individuals and as a group.

Their exhibition “Lost & Found” is now on view at WaterFire Arts Center through October 11.

Pamela is a Providence-based interdisciplinary artist who immigrated from the Dominican Republic at a young age. In the studio, she pieces together fragments of lived experience, family stories, and media to explore questions of ancestry, culture, and home, and how they shape her identity and her connection to the wider Caribbean diaspora.

Stop by and see how far this year has taken all six of them, and join us on the show’s closing day, Sunday, October 11 at 3 p.m., for an artist panel with the full cohort.

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 10th Annual FireBall: Turning the Tide on Wednesday, September 16 at the WaterFire Arts Center.

From the red carpet to the aerialists overhead, the lion dance to the glow of the fire, it was an unforgettable celebration of art, light, and community as WaterFire steps into a bold new chapter.
