Victory Pottery is run by Mary Arnold, who was introduced to clay by her hobby potter grandparents. Mary has loved working with ceramics since childhood, and she began selling her work on Instagram in 2018. Victory Pottery has grown steadily since, and while much of Mary’s work is functional (think mugs, vases, bowls, and trinket dishes), she also creates super unique sculptural pieces that reflect her love for wheel throwing, painting, and form. After years of primarily online sales, Mary now enjoys popping up at markets, and you can see her at The Good Trade BTV *and* The Good Trade PVD this year!!

Retablos Palomino & Jimenez is a family-run artisan business led by Zuly Palomino, a Peruvian artist of Quechua heritage. Her family has been making retablos, portable boxes filled with colorful figurines depicting intricate scenes, for four generations. Zuly handcrafts each piece from potato dough and plaster, inspired by Andean stories, nature, and everyday life in the rural communities of Peru. The business also supports other artisans who make alpaca wool creations, helping preserve traditional Andean craft. They sell online and offer custom work, and you can find them at The Good Trade PVD again this fall!
