We are super excited to welcome back the endless energy and fantastic tunes of the Jane Band to Prosser Scottish Fest & Highland Games this year! They are known for their dynamic performances featuring virtuosic, high-speed fiddling, contagious smiles, and unstoppable dancing feet. The band shares their dynamic stage performances at Celtic festivals, Scottish Highland Games, and theaters up and down the West Coast. Their music takes listeners on a joyful journey through the folklore of Celtic music, and their engaging storytelling relates the audience to the sweetness of everyday human experience.

Remembering those who have served and fallen today on Memorial Day. Those of Scottish descent have fought and died in every major American military conflict since the Revolutionary War 250 years ago.

If you would like to learn more about family members who have served in the military through the generations, a couple of resources would be the Sons of the American Revolution, whose local chapter will be at the Prosser Scottish Fest on June 20th, or you can visit the Scottish American Military Society at https://s-a-m-s.org/about/

We are so grateful to have a local pipe band that participates at Prosser Scottish Fest & Highland Games each year!

The Columbia Regional Pipe Band got its start in 2011 when members of the Desert Thistle Pipe Band (active from 1976 to 2011 in southeastern Washington’s Tri-Cities area) teamed with like-minded pipers and drummers from across the Pacific Northwest region to form a band centered on pipe band competition. This “regional” characteristic is reflected in the band’s name. Today’s Columbia Regional Pipe Band is made up of pipers and drummers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. The band's tartan is Blue Ramsay (ancient).

We are excited to welcome a new performer to the Scottish Fest & Highland Games this year! Haylee Adamson & Clan is a local family band. They have been playing in the Prosser, Washington area for several years.

Haylee's journey began at age 4 with classical violin training, but she rekindled her love for music when she discovered Celtic Fiddle. The past 25 years have been full of diverse performing and recording experiences, including the chance to play alongside legends in Galway, Ireland. Today her focus is teaching the next generation of musicians and sharing her love of storytelling in the Celtic tradition.

Come see them June 20th at the event! www.prosserscottishfest.org
