With last night being our annual meeting I want to say thank you to everyone who showed up and voiced their concerns and ideas to help improve the overall function of the Speedway. I also thought I would announce the updated board of directors going into the 2027 season!

🏁 WISSOTA DRIVERS — WE WANT YOUR INPUT! 🏁

The annual WISSOTA meetings are coming up in November, and WISSOTA is currently accepting proposed rule changes and suggestions for the upcoming season.

The KME Proctor Speedway would like to hear from drivers who have raced at our track before we submit anything for consideration.

There are two areas where WISSOTA is requesting input:

📋 Administrative Rule Changes
If you have a proposed change to an administrative rule, let us know what you would like to see changed and why. Examples of administrative rules would be point system, draw-redraw/point average, how many shows count towards national points, etc.

🔧 Technical Rule Suggestions
If you have a suggestion or proposed change regarding technical rules for your class, we want to hear that as well. Each submission must reference the page number and the topic in the rule book of the item you are referencing, so we know what you are referencing.

⏰ WISSOTA’s submission deadline is October 6, 2026, so please get your suggestions to us by 10/5/2026.

We have to throw a big congratulations Kevin Burdick on picking up the WISSOTA's Late Model Challenge Series Championship today at the the Wissota 100!

Now that the 2026 season has officially come to a close, all of us at Proctor KME Speedway want to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you who played a part in making this season happen, fans, drivers, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and supporters.

This season certainly had its challenges, but because of this community, we were able to come together and keep the wheels turning.

We once again want to thank the drivers who gave up their winnings that one night, the businesses and individuals who stepped up to provide free admission for children and students, and everyone who came together to purchase backpacks for local kids. Those are the kinds of things that make a difference, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Fans: You came through when we needed you most. The second half of the season saw some incredible crowds, and seeing the grandstands filled was awesome. We hope to carry that momentum into 2027. In a tough economy, we will continue to do our best to provide a night of entertainment at a fair price. And as always, we’ll do our best to make sure you get home at a reasonable hour. Thank you for making us your Sunday home

Drivers: Thank you for making Proctor KME Speedway your Sunday night home throughout the summer. To those who made every week, thank you. To those who made it out for one or a couple of shows, thank you for stopping by and putting your trust in us. We hope to see even more of you in 2027. Best of luck during the invitational season!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who put in the time, effort, and support to keep Proctor KME Speedway going. A racetrack is only as strong as the community behind it, and we are fortunate to have a great one.

Thank you all, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at the track in 2027!

A Few Notes

-Banquet details will be announced at a later date.

-The Annual Meeting and Elections will be announced at a later date. We do have some open board positions that will be available.

- Have an idea for an event? Interested in sponsorship opportunities? Looking for a summer job at the track? Feel free to send us a message. Comments are not typically monitored.

The Wednesday Nighters Car Show crew will be making their stop at the Proctor KME Speedway THIS Wednesday night!! Show starts around 4pm!

What’s to eat?
We will be serving chicken strips, hotdogs, polish dogs, sloppy joes and french fries! $5 baskets until food is gone and $4 a pop!

See you all there with your classic rides!!
