The secluded beauty of the botanical gardens and arboretum at Hornbaker Gardens is now available as the site for your wedding. Say “I do” on the manicured meadow, overlooking the pond, surrounded by nature’s beauty. This new facility was designed with your wedding in mind. Rustic on the outside, but elegant on the inside, it features lots of glass looking out onto the gardens, along with a bride’s room, groom’s room, modern bathrooms and a large kitchen. Heating and air conditioning guarantee that you and your guests will dine and celebrate in comfort. The large, covered patio provides a place to start the party with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and to step outside later and enjoy the evening air. Photo opportunities abound in the unique setting that is Hornbaker Gardens. Your photographer, as well as your friends and family, will have a field day with their cameras. 📸 A quick Homecoming photo reminder!

We know it’s Homecoming season and Hornbaker Gardens makes a beautiful backdrop for photos! 💃🏼🕺🏼

The Garden Center will be open and available during regular business hours, and you are welcome to take photos in the public Garden Center areas.

However, there is a wedding taking place at The Barn, so the Barn, ceremony areas, patio, grounds immediately surrounding the Barn, and other wedding spaces are completely off-limits for Homecoming photos.

We kindly but strongly ask that you please do not attempt to take “just a few quick pictures” around The Barn. Our couples have paid to have these spaces reserved exclusively for their wedding day, and we want to protect the privacy and experience they’ve planned and paid for. ❤️

Please help us spread the word to students, parents and photographers so no one makes the trip expecting to use the Barn for photos.

Thank you so much for respecting our couples and their special day — and have a wonderful Homecoming! ✨
