Henry and I are proud to announce: our summer reading program is ready for unveiling!
…A little background:
The American Library Association choses a summer reading theme every year. For 2026, the theme is based on ever-popular topics: dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology. In the spirit of discovery, this summer’s ALA theme is:
“Unearth a Story”.
This inspired Henry and me to create, “THE LOST SONG OF THE SABERTOOTH”!
Of course, Summer Readers will become part of a “dig-crew",
using rhythm, melody, and sound effects to piece together the
mysterious “Lost Song of the Sabertooth”. This epic program mixes fun facts about fossils, excavation, and
the layers of time with the thrill of playing unusual
percussion instruments.
If you like the sound of that, please join us! Performances will be posted on SticksAndTones.com. If you happen to share the flyer with your friendly library or school, you will increase the odds that we will play in your vicinity. ;-)
Thank you, Everyone, for your continued support of and interest in Sticks and Tones and general Flurry shenanigans!
¡Feliz año nuevo!
