we just went up last night, camped and checked out the spot.. nice big are with plenty of room for the people but not a ton of parking. carpool if you can. here"s directions from phoenix and cottonwood. (Playground group campground on google maps.) the ceremony is at the hanglider launchpad just passed camp area, left at the stop sign and go till the end. THE PARKING HERE IS EVEN MORE LIMITED SO WE ARE HOPING PEOPLE PARK BELOW AND CARPOOL UP TO AVOID CONGESTION. THEY WILL SHUT IT DOWN IF WE CAN MANAGE CONGESTION.

Also we will have a 12 x 30-foot hoophouse like this one for a kids tent.. It Will be shade/rain and chill space during the day and turn into slumber/crash pad for the kiddos and anyone else needing a spot..

so it's official, they tried to charge us $1,800 for porta potties and permits in Williams. We found and booked a large group Campground on Mingus Mountain near Cottonwood. It's close to Mingus Lake, which is small but I think they still have fishing. Ceremony will be at the viewpoint which is a couple miles from the campgrounds. We will get better details out soon.
