Prescott’s own Jenny Tomaskavich, alongside a group of talented artists from BASIS Prescott, invites you to be part of something bigger at Chalk It Up.

Join the creation of a community mandala—a collaborative piece built with intention, one mark at a time. Not ready to claim your own square? Step into the circle and add your energy to the mandala. Every line, every color coming together in a shared work.

This FREE event takes place April 18th, 10 AM–4 PM at 142 N. Cortez in the Raven Café parking lot 202 N. Cortez in The Hub parking lot, and at 222 N. Cortez at The Fairweather Social Club.

Shout out to Featured Artist, Zach Olsen, is a self-taught artist based in Prescott, Arizona, whose work is a reflection of his diverse life experiences. Drawing inspiration from various walks of life, he seamlessly blends different artistic styles to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

“Specializing in acrylic painting, oil painting, soft pastel street chalk, woodworking, and upcycling unique vintage and modern treasures, Zach’s mastery of color and technique evokes deep emotional connections with his audience, making his work both distinctive and memorable.

His keen eye for interior design allows him to craft installations that harmonize beautifully with their surroundings, ensuring each piece is both complementary and captivating. Recently, his focus has expanded to large-scale interior and exterior murals, incorporating hand-painting, spray painting, and faux-textured glam-marbling. By utilizing paint, plaster, leafing techniques, real gemstones, and crystal rhinestones on surfaces such as walls, pillars, and canvas, Zach transforms spaces into immersive works of art.”
