To Our Incredible Northwoods Truck Show Family,
What a weekend. As we reflect on this year's Northwoods Truck Show, our hearts are so full of gratitude for each and every one of you who showed up and showed out for Prentice.
We want to be transparent with our community — our Friday night Glow & Show was a little quieter this year with fewer trucks compared to the 30+ we saw last year. We completely understand. Fuel prices and the economy are real, and we have nothing but respect and appreciation for every driver who made the journey to be with us. You showed up when it wasn't easy, and that means more than we can say.
But here's what didn't slow down — this community. The streets of Prentice were ALIVE Friday night. You came out, you danced, you cheered, you supported the live music and filled the avenue with the kind of energy that only a small town with a big heart can bring. That is something no economy can take away from us. 💛
To our truck drivers — thank you for putting in the time, the miles, and the hard work to get your rigs cleaned up and show-ready. You are the heart and soul of this event and we are so grateful for every single one of you.
A very special thank you to every driver who brought non-perishable goods as their registration fee. Those donations go directly to the Prentice Fire Department to help feed families in our community throughout the holiday season. You didn't just show up with an incredible rig — you showed up with an incredible heart. 💛
To our volunteers and everyone who helped put this together and keep it running — you are the backbone of everything we do. The long hours, the early mornings, the behind the scenes work that nobody sees — we see it, we appreciate it, and we could not do any of this without you.
To MBS — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for so generously sharing your property with our community. Your support makes so much of this weekend possible and we are endlessly grateful.
To IMR — a very special thank you for creating such an incredibly cool prize for our Truckers Choice Award this year! The drivers absolutely loved it and it made the recognition of our winners even more memorable. We are so grateful for your creativity and generosity! 🏆
To Firsthand High and the Jerry Schmitt Band — THANK YOU for bringing the energy and keeping Prentice rocking Friday night! You kept the crowd on their feet, the smiles on their faces, and the good vibes flowing all night long during our Glow & Show. Your talent and passion for what you do did not go unnoticed and we are so grateful you were a part of our night. 🎶
To Ripsaw Saloon and Sailors II 🍺These amazing establishments helped make Friday night what it was by helping fund the bands and keeping both sides of the street alive with energy and excitement. Their investment in this event and in this community does not go unnoticed and we are so incredibly grateful for their partnership. If you haven't already, go show them some love — they deserve it! 💛
To our food vendors — thank you for feeding our crowd and being such a wonderful part of the weekend atmosphere. You kept everyone happy, full, and ready to celebrate!
To every business and individual that donated — whether you gave monetarily or donated physical items, please know that your contribution goes far beyond this one weekend. Every dollar raised gives back directly to our beloved community. You are investing in something bigger than a truck show — you are investing in Prentice.
And to every spectator, supporter, and community member who came out — thank you. You are what makes Prentice such a special place to call home and exactly why we will be back next year bigger and better than ever. 🙌
A very special shoutout to Heikki Heikkinen - thank you so much for all of your incredible support in helping promote & advertise the Northwoods Truck Show. Your efforts helped spread the word, bring amazing vendors to our event, and bring community together and we are so grateful for everything you do.
A huge thank you to the Prentice Volleyball Team - what a wonderful way to start the mornings! You showed up bright and early Saturday & Sunday to make breakfast. Your hard work, dedication and community spirit means so much to us and we are so grateful for you!
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you, thank you, thank you. See you next Labor Day weekend! 💛
With love and gratitude, Sam & Micky Esterholm & The Northwoods Truck Show Team Prentice, Wisconsin
