A heartfelt thank you for making the 6th annual Northwoods Truck Show a huge success! To all our amazing helpers, vendors, truck drivers, the community and spectators - THANK YOU!!! This event would NOT be possible without you!!!
TRUCK DRIVERS…. a special thank you to ya’ll! You spend long hours and countless nights away from your families, enduring traffic, harsh weather, and demanding schedules to deliver safely. Thank you for your immense hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Your service is the backbone of our economy and the lifeline that connects our communities, a vital role often unseen and underappreciated. I cannot express what it means to us, that you took time out of your busy lives to shine up your rigs and bring them to our small town to support our event! We also appreciate the non-perishable goods that were donated. These will be used during the holiday season when our local fire department delivers their holiday cheer along with a Christmas meal.
Our gratitude is extended to all of those who volunteered their time and energy to help make the Northwoods Truck Show what is it!! The event truly could not have happened without support from not only our family, but the Kalander, Komarek, Behling, Revie & Grant families!! Their enthusiasm and hard work is invaluable from start to finish; setting up, tearing down, blocking roads, guiding semi’s, running the registration booth, selling 50/50 tickets, beer, food & shirts…while also keeping everything organized behind the scenes. We appreciate you more than you know….
A huge thank you to Brandon & Arlene Makovsky (MBS) for allowing us to use your property again! We truly appreciate your kindness in sharing this with us. Your generosity helped make the event a huge success.
We had more vendors this year, how wonderful! Thank you Hutch Leather Works, KJ’s Ice Cream, Grandpa Choo Choo’s Popcorn, Pinery Diesel & Bobbie Bones Repair LLC for your participation in the Northwoods Truck Show! These contributions are appreciated, and it is hoped that the vendors had as much fun as the organizers, and looking forward to working together again!
Our first ever Friday night Glow & Show was a huge success!! We were beyond thrilled to not only see the beautiful trucks, but also the river of lights that lit up the streets!! Ultimately, the cool glow of a semi-truck's lights is a powerful symbol of the long, solitary journeys of truckers and the essential service they provide, connecting cities across the country. So, thank you drivers for sharing - and thank you to the spectators that came, filled our streets and supported the truck drivers! Thank Prentice Fire Department for your support! Once again supplying food, beer and now opening your doors to allow us to have our Friday night dance!
Big shoutout to the entertainers at the Northwoods Truck Show! Thank you all for killer performances; Loren Wanish “Elvis”, First Handhigh, and Jon Peck! Your music was the perfect vibe for the day & night and had everyone on their feet.
All proceeds from the 50/50 raffle, shirt sales and donated food from the Northwoods Truck Show are put forth to the Prentice Fire Department, Prentice Progress Days Foundation and our Community.
We genuinely thank you ALL and will ALWAYS be grateful!
Hope to see ya'll next year - Sept. 04-05, 2026!!
