A “Streets of Gold” 5K Run and 1 Mile fun run walk is being held in Prague OK in honor and celebration of the life of Colleen Cleveland, a young lady who had a passion and love for running. Colleen was loved by all who knew her and she was very ac

tive in the community of Prague, especially in 4-H, FFA, First Baptist Church, and the Kiwanis Club. Colleen had many interests including going to the lake, scuba diving, knitting, traveling, working with the Kolache Association, running, & motorcycle riding. Colleen loved young children and she was instrumental in implementing and running several reading and educational programs in the Prague Elementary School. Colleen was a former school teacher and had a passion for education. This year’s run proceeds will go to the Colleen Cleveland scholarship fund that is set up by the Kiwanis Club.

Thank you Thank you Thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, runners and walkers that supported the Streets of Gold Run - We will have around 4800.00 to give out in scholarships this spring - I have no doubt that Colleen is shouting a big "woo hoo" and would be so proud that this race will help students continue their education. Thanks again to everyone who makes this event possible - love to you all xoxo

The Colleen Cleveland Streets of Gold is tomorrow! Race starts at 9:00 am for both the 5K and 1 Mile. Packet Pickup, silent auction and race day registration will take place INSIDE the community center (building North of start line) awards and door prizes will start at 10:00 am inside the building. Silent Auction ends at 10:00am.

The 7th Annual Colleen Cleveland Streets of Gold 5K/1Mile is less than 1 week away! Weather looks great - awesome silent auction, bake sale and door prize items including a fitbit - On-line registration closes Wednesday at midnight. Race day registrations will be taken the morning of the race from 7:30-8:40 - All proceeds go to student scholarships.
