PNCC takes an army of volunteers to pull together. This year, we had one in particular that put in so much, and did so with such a servant heart that no one really knows the extent of how much he did. So, we’re just going to put the spotlight on Tyler Miller. Husband, father, businessman, farmer, volunteer firefighter, paramedic among many other things.
We had a rocky start to course prep with our mower deciding it wanted to see the Potter Volunteer Fire Department a few weeks before race day, without hesitation Tyler brought an 18ft mower out a few days later to mow the campground. Then brought a blade out to smooth out prairie dog holes, create the fire access road, and maintenance to the entrance road so it wasnt so rough for campers. He spent hours on course work setting stakes and mowing. He got equipment to us to reface the pond jump and clean up obstacles. The free water in the tank by registration was donated from him and his businesses. He spent all day Saturday and Sunday flagging and sweep riding and helping with whatever was needed while supporting his wife and friends racing. I’m sure I’m forgetting something. But Tyler; from all of us at PNCC, Corcs, the riders, spectators…Thank you!
